How Often Should I Water My Lawn?
The answer to this question varies based on the weather, soil, and lawn health. However, as a general rule, you should water your lawn deeply once a week during the warmer months of the year. This allows your lawn to partially dry between each time you water it which will make it more drought resistant.
Lighter and less frequent watering may be needed in autumn and spring time. In winter, you shouldn’t need to water much at all. In fact, if there are no signs that your lawn is dry, there is no need to water it.
Top Tip: The best time to water your lawn is early morning or evening as this will allow your lawn to soak up as much water as possible.
What Is The Best Mulch For My Garden?
Different types of mulches have different qualities and benefits. The best mulch for your garden depends on your individual needs and tastes. For example, tea tree mulch is known for its pleasant aroma and organic qualities. Whereas, red cypress mulch is known for its vibrant colour and acts as a natural insect deterrent.

What Type Of Garden Soil Do I Have?
There are three different soil types: sandy, silty, and clay. You can determine the type of your soil based on how it feels and how it holds water. To test what type of soil you have, wet the soil and roll it into a ball. If the soil crumbles through your fingers and does not for a ball, you have sandy soil. If the soil is smooth to the touch and leaves dirt on your skin, you have silty soil. And if the soil feels sticky and easily rolls into a ball, you have clay soil.
